Sometimes I feel that our country does not take voice overs as seriously as it should. I remember being little and seeing cartoons from other countries that had been translated into our language, and thinking how poor the voices sounded, and how they did not match the show or the situations being spoken about. But rather than thinking it was a poor reflection on the original works themselves, I realized early on that it was sloppy work from our side of the table, as we were too lazy to get everything synced up properly with any sort of correct emotional inflection.
